“Lovely and clean”
My family and my mom stayed in a suite together. The building is truly lovely and the rooms were spic and span clean and beautiful. The views are outstanding. “Out of the Oaxaca City bustle....”

We spent 8 days at Suites Xadani in April 2013. The hotel/timeshare is very pretty with gorgeously painted walls with palm trees and animals.The suites were large, clean, modern and well equipped with flat screen TV's and fantastic views from the balconies. Even with a bit of a language barrier, the guys at the desk could not have been more helpful.They recommended Jose, a great tour guide who took us to Monte Alban and Mitla and gave us a real insight into the Zapotec heritage and history of Oaxaca, We had maid service every day which is unusual for a timeshare. Staying in San Felipe gave us more of a feel for how people live in Oaxaca. When we were too lazy to go back into the city, we had dinner at Los Laureles nearby, a lovely restuarant with beautiful gardens and the Angel Inn a bit of a longer walk. There was also a little bodega down the street where they made fresh, delicious empanadas every night. San Felipe is a 10 minute bus ride from the zocalo and buses run very frequently into town for about 60 cents.It was wondeful to go back and flop by the pool after a hot day of sightseeing.There is a wonderful open patio with great views and breezes. The only slight drawbacks would be that it has no amenities: no restaurant, coffee shop, gym, the pool was quite chilly and and the kitchen could have had a few more dishes, wine glasses, pans, silverware. Nothing important, though. I would definitely go back to Xadani!

“Good value north of Oaxaca”
As the hotels in city center of Oaxaca were mostly full we decided to book a room at Suites Xadani. The hotel is located about 5km North of the center in San Felipe de Agua. As the hotels in city center of Oaxaca were mostly full we decided to book a room at Suites Xadani. The hotel is located about 5km North of the center in San Felipe de Agua. It is a 15 min. drive to get to downtown. We booked a suite which was comfortable and spacious with a king bed and a couch that could be turned into a bed. The suite has also a small kitchen, a balcony and two bathrooms. The view from the balcony is to a nice neighborhood. Generally the hotel is quiet but Saturday night it was a bit nosy as there is a party location just in front of the hotel. Other observations: Service was good and friendly. The parking lot is just in front of the hotel, could be a bit tight when it is crowded. As it was low season they did not offer breakfast. There are some restaurante options in the neighborhood around.

“Best 3 star hotel value EVER!”
This one was a tough one to rate. I want to give it 5 stars but I cannot because of lack of certain amenities. Having said that, this hotel is such a great value. Location is off the beaten path, no room service, and very few frills, but if you can deal with that this place is such a good deal. Spa… lisää
This one was a tough one to rate. I want to give it 5 stars but I cannot because of lack of certain amenities. Having said that, this hotel is such a great value. Location is off the beaten path, no room service, and very few frills, but if you can deal with that this place is such a good deal. Spacious rooms which are clean and more than adequate. We had a rental car so it wasn't tough for us to get to El Centro. Personnel is friendly and helpful. Free parking for guests although limited. It is a 3 star hotel which deserves 4-5 stars based on value. Can't find many good deals like this around anymore. I highly recommend it value wise. If you need luxury and convenience then it is not for you.
