The 100% vegetarian restaurant at the Los Olivos Spa and Hotel is wonderful. We are vegetarians, and we had to really dig to find this spot. TripAdvisor needs to add this restaurant. Fortunately one of our guides knew about this place and recommended it to us. They serve all day and have special times when its like a buffet and that is a great bargain. We ordered off the menu and it was great. Its a little farther out from the historical district, but if you are vegetarian, you will appreciate this place.

The vegetarian restaurant offers breakfast buffet and Mexican dishes for lunch and dinner. The coffee is delicious as it should be the in Oaxaca.

“Very convenient location for us”
Hotel was just a short walk from where our son was staying in Oaxaca, which was a great bonus for us. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for a week, then went on a road trip, then returned for just one night before our departure. First room we stayed in was very … lisää
Hotel was just a short walk from where our son was staying in Oaxaca, which was a great bonus for us. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for a week, then went on a road trip, then returned for just one night before our departure. First room we stayed in was very dark, and looked out onto a wall (base of staircase) - Needed to have light on all the time. Although the hotel had some lovely gardens, we couldn't see them from our room at all. We were surprised to find that not only did the hotel not serve alcohol: they didn't permit it on the premises either. Could find nothing about this in the information about Los Olivos. Very good breakfast, with lots of delicious choices! Ate at the hotel once in the evening. Quite austere dining room with fluorescent lights and bare tables: not very welcoming. We preferred eating in the city centre, where there are some excellent restaurants. City centre easily and cheaply reached by bus or taxi.
