“Excellent Hotel in San Pedro, Monterrey”

I visited the NH Collection Monterrey San Pedro on a friends trip to Monterrey. This is the third time I've been to Monterrey and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at there. The hotel is connected to the Paseo San Pedro mall. While the mall and it's shops are very high end, there are restaurants and a Starbucks there in case you need it. There are a lot of grocery stores and restaurants of all different types in the immediate area, so you never feel like there's a lack of variety for you to choose from for eating. The hotel itself is immaculate. The room I was in, a standard double room was very clean. The room had comfortable beds with both firm and soft pillows (it's nice to have a choice). There's a mini fridge and lots of outlets for you to plug your electronics into. There's room to spread, although I could have used more full drawers instead of shelving to organize my clothes. Air conditioning, which I've had issues with at other hotels in Monterrey, was very strong and I could keep the room as cold as I wanted to, constantly. The common areas of the hotel were very clean and the hotel itself smelled very nice. The gym was very impressive and modern. Housekeeping staff was super efficient to the point that I went to breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and when I returned at 10:15, my room had been turned over. The only drawback, if you want to nitpick, is that it's not so close to the historical center, but you probably already know that if you're looking for a hotel in San Pedro. My friends and I agree that our new base in Monterrey in the future is going to be the NH Collection Monterrey San Pedro.

“Adequate hotel in a convenient location”
The location is convenient walking distance to Arboleda shopping center for restaurants and HEB supermarket. Only one very small water bottle is provided, so the supermarket was convenient to buy water. It would have been nice if there were more than 3 hangers in the room and if there was hair con… lisää
The location is convenient walking distance to Arboleda shopping center for restaurants and HEB supermarket. Only one very small water bottle is provided, so the supermarket was convenient to buy water. It would have been nice if there were more than 3 hangers in the room and if there was hair conditioner in the conditioner container in shower. Also I wish there had been a bathtub. I did make use of the gym which had adequate equipment but had run out of water when I visited. The bed and pillows were comfortable, so I slept well there.

“Bad experience!”
First of all the parking situation is weird. Is not included with the reservation you have to purchase a daily pass to enter and exit the place. First of all the parking situation is weird. Is not included with the reservation you have to purchase a daily pass to enter and exit the place. Second our that we were first assigned was under the gym and we traveled with kids and poor babies we couldn’t sleep because of the weights noise and the most IMPORTANT of all the room had cockroaches we killed 5 but saw more. I do have to say that most of the staff was super friendly and understanding but a handful (mainly the receptionists and manager were very rude and didn’t want to listen to our concerns or were very confusing. They did rectify the problem at the end and put us in a new room but definitely we were not expecting this from a well known hotel.

The hotel generally is nice, the parking is really bad service, it shall be included in the tariff. It is very complicated to buy everyday one ticket for the parking, wasting time in the reception to be attended, pay the parking and then we still waiting for the invoice including the parking servic… lisää
