“Great Stay”
I had a great stay in this hotel. The beds were clean, the staff were friendly and I particularly enjoyed the tiny elevator. Europe is different from North America and seeing all of my fellow Canadians writing such negative things about this place is rather disheartening. I thought the location was… lisää
I had a great stay in this hotel. The beds were clean, the staff were friendly and I particularly enjoyed the tiny elevator. Europe is different from North America and seeing all of my fellow Canadians writing such negative things about this place is rather disheartening. I thought the location was fine. It is only about a five or ten minute walk to the Plaka and many great restaurants are within the area. No, this is not the Hilton which is in the nicer side of Athens but you get what you pay for. The typical Greek breakfast is "a coffee and two cigarettes", as the locals call it and the breakfast at the hotel is the only thing that needed improvement. I was very comfortable and very pleased that the hotel had air conditioning. As soon my group arrived we sat down with the travel company representative and the hotel staff served us a complementary glass of Ouzo. What's not to like? I'd recommend it to anyone.

“Comfortable”
We had a comfortable stay here. Our rooms were spacious with a big bath and shower. It was very clean and we had a nice free buffet breakfast each morning. Only thing we didn't like was the unfriendly server in the over priced restaurant on the top floor that serves dinner (not the breakfast room).… lisää
We had a comfortable stay here. Our rooms were spacious with a big bath and shower. It was very clean and we had a nice free buffet breakfast each morning. Only thing we didn't like was the unfriendly server in the over priced restaurant on the top floor that serves dinner (not the breakfast room). It's much better if you venture into the surrounding area for dinner meals as they are affordable and taste better. Just be careful to stay away from omonia square when it gets too late try to go out for earlier suppers as the area around the hotel is not too safe but it's very close to subway stations and you are downtown in 10 minutes flat. You easily get to the acropolis and plaka and other locations from this hotel by subway or taxi. the walls are pretty thin though so you can hear if people are being too loud at night.
