“Great Location But Needs modernising”
Excellent location right next to Xiamen railway station and right opposite Large shopping mall housing wallmart.Mcdoalds,KFC. Extremely Friendly Staff at the hotel. Only downside hotel out of date decor and rooms in need of modernisation.And hotels in China need to add electronic safes for customer… lisää

“Good for it's location”
I choose this hotel is because of it's location. It is so strategic that walking out of the hotel is Xiamen Train Station (so there is no worry of taking a late train back to Xiamen), the is an access to underground shopping mall right in front of the hotel entrance. I choose this hotel is because of it's location. It is so strategic that walking out of the hotel is Xiamen Train Station (so there is no worry of taking a late train back to Xiamen), the is an access to underground shopping mall right in front of the hotel entrance. Two restaurants on the left and right of the hotel serve cheap and delicious food. Cab is easy to flag right in front of the hotel. Public bus stand in front and opposite of the hotel, and also BRT station right in front of the hotel brings you anywhere in Xiamen for a fare of RMB1 per trip. I was given a room facing the construction site, so basically no view at all. Staff at Reception service counter lack friendliness. Breakfast buffet is average standard, mainly chinese food. The shower head in the room is very low, and I find it difficult to get a good shower. No hair dryer provided in the room. Other basic amenities are provided. Overall, if you are travelling on your own and is taking public transport most of the time, this hotel is considered to be the best option as it is right in front of the train station. If you opt for cheaper hotel, there are quite a few choices right opposite the main road.

“Within Walking Distance of the Railway Station”
This hotel is very close to the railway station! Its rooms decoration is outdated but the staff is very helpful! I could not watch TV stations in English because the system was broken but a staff there tried to help by showing me how to get some of the channels online.
