“Wonderful place to stay”

My wife and I spent a week here during our first visit to Japan. The reception was respectful and polite. While some didn't speak perfect English, we were able to understand and communicate. We had our luggage shipped to the hotel from Haneda airport via JAL ABC, and they held on to it until we arrived. (Our flight arrived around 4:30am, and check in was 4pm). We had no issues with other guests, as it seemed like many people in Japan show the utmost respect in every aspect of life. Our room was very quite, although a bit small with the king size bed. The bed was a bit harder than we are used to. The bathroom was small, but clean. The tub was very deep, and there was a soap/shampoo dispenser as opposed to small travel sized soaps. Cleaning is done from 10am-4pm, but there were a couple of occasions where we needed to come back to our rooms early, and we were quickly accommodated. Breakfast was very good, although seating was a bit difficult to find if we arrived as soon as breakfast started at 7am. We decided to arrive between 8:30 and 9, and seating was fine later on. There are two clothes washers and dryers located on the main floor, with a soap vending machine which we did use. Next to the elevators were two vending machines which had regular and alcoholic drinks. The elevators were a bit small, but space is at a premium in Tokyo. It is in a good location, about a 5 minute walk from the Tsukuba Express, Don Quijote, 7/11, Family Mart, and a supermarket. The Asakusa market area is very close, as is the Asakusa Shrine. We have already decided that we will stay here again on our next trip.

“Value For Money In Asakusa”

We stayed for 6 nights and was very happy with our experience, Pros : 1) The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel environment was clean and safe. 2) The staff speaks simple English. Service was efficient and fast. 3) There is a free shuttle bus service to Ueno JR train station in the morning and return in the evening. 4) Luggage can be kept (free of charge) at the reception before check-in. 5) There is a supermarket and police post 3 minutes walk away. Many eating places, convenience stores and large supermarket within 10-15 minutes away. 6) Tsukuba Express train station is about 6 minutes away. We used only once because of the free shuttle bus service. 7) Breakfast was delicious and simple Japanese style. 8) Many attractions within 20 minutes walk away. E.g. Sensoji Temple and Kappabashi (kitchen) Street. Cons : 1) The room was small but no issue with us. 2) The breakfast area was tiny but no issue with us because we went early at about 7.30am. 3) The free shuttle bus is not available in the afternoon. We would recommend this hotel for its value for money accomodation.

“Super Convenient”
I went to Tokyo for an intense week of sighseeing. This hotel turned out to be a perfect choice for our needs. The breakfast was proper and kept us full for many hours. There is also a fantastic shuttle service to Ueno train station. I recommend this location.
