“clean, fantastic location”
It was fine. Yes, the decor in the rooms probably hasn't been updated in thirty years, but that's not what matters. It was clean (no mold as stated in some reviews), the air conditioning works, the lobby was nice, and the employees at the front desk were very helpful- including watching my luggage … lisää
It was fine. Yes, the decor in the rooms probably hasn't been updated in thirty years, but that's not what matters. It was clean (no mold as stated in some reviews), the air conditioning works, the lobby was nice, and the employees at the front desk were very helpful- including watching my luggage in the morning before I was allowed to check in. You cannot beat this location, especially if taking the circular tourist bus that runs from the train station is something you plan on.

“Practical, comfortable and convenient”
I stayed overnight in a very compact but also very practical room with everything I needed. The space was well-designed with a good-sized desk which had three powerpoints above it (yay! doesn't happen everywhere), so easy to plug in tablet and accessories, and also charge phone and camera battery. … lisää
I stayed overnight in a very compact but also very practical room with everything I needed. The space was well-designed with a good-sized desk which had three powerpoints above it (yay! doesn't happen everywhere), so easy to plug in tablet and accessories, and also charge phone and camera battery. Small fridge and tv, humidifier, electric jug, nighshirt and complimentary slilppers. Lovely ceramic tea mugs. I did find the waste bins a little small (no recycling but that's often the case in Japanese hotels). Wi fi worked well, and there was a radio. The comfortable bed had a nice flat pillow and lighting console conveniently placed. The bathroom was small but there was a good deep bath. Interesting city and mountain views from the room. The hotel lobby was attractively decorated. The location was conveniently close to the JR Station as well as eateries and some shops. Good value, and would stay again.

“Decent business hotel”
Decent but a very dated hotel. Parking is free nearby but not at the hotel. There is free bath powder at the front desk. There is a 7-eleven just across the street which is very convenient. The staff are friendly. Not much complaints about this hotel.

“Good buffet breakfast”
We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast. Booked and paid via hotels.com. The hotel is not new but clean and good to stay and it didn't cost much compared with other hotels in this area.
