“Excellent Location!”
We had a bit of a hard time finding it (as did everyone in the reviews we read), but you can't beat the location!! The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English which was a bonus for us. We had a bit of a hard time finding it (as did everyone in the reviews we read), but you can't beat the location!! The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English which was a bonus for us. The room was modern, clean, and air conditioned which was a necessity after walking around in the heat wave all day. We walked everywhere from this location! It is very central and they give you a little city map which marks all of the must-sees. The breakfast had more options than most places we stayed that were self-serve. The food at the restaurant downstairs was good, but the waiter was so incredibly rude I would not recommend it.

“Wonderful stay may 6-9”
Stayed at Residenza Trevi for 4 days may 6-9 and had a wonderful stay. Location is great we walked everywhere around Rome....colleseum, forum,Spanish steps, steps from the Trevi fountain, and even walked to Vatican . Staff...very friendly and helpful Room....clean and bed comfortable Breakfast b… lisää

“excellent location, very kind staff”
I agree it is a bit hard to find, but it is only 50 m from the Fontana. The room is correct, really pleasant. Good heating. Correct bed and pillows. Nice breakfast in the roof-garden. I agree it is a bit hard to find, but it is only 50 m from the Fontana. The room is correct, really pleasant. Good heating. Correct bed and pillows. Nice breakfast in the roof-garden. The staff in the reception was very kind and helpfull ( I still remember how nice Peppi was). I booked the hotel in the net at an excellent price (about 70e for a double, BB, January 2012). I would definitely recommend it. European 3 stars.

“Great Deal, Great Location, Great Food, Poor Signage..”
I echo many of the previous reviews by writing this, but we were really, really pleased with your stay at the Trevi B&B as the sign says outside the door. The name is currently in flux, so if you are planning a visit know that you should look for Chianti restaurant just up from the Trevi Fountain … lisää
I echo many of the previous reviews by writing this, but we were really, really pleased with your stay at the Trevi B&B as the sign says outside the door. The name is currently in flux, so if you are planning a visit know that you should look for Chianti restaurant just up from the Trevi Fountain on Via Lavatore. The entrance is literally just through the outdoor seating. Once inside, we felt like we had a major win for picking a hotel from online. The people were friendly and spoke wonderful English. They used technology well and had access to WiFi for us. The room was adorable and the view from our window like that from an Italian movie. The amenities were impeccable; the bed clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh coffee, fruit, yogurt, cereal and baked goods in the morning. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a hot day of walking around the city. We walked EVERYWHERE from this location, it was that central! Arriving back at our room, the air conditioning was amazing! You must eat at Chianti while you stay here...delicious food that isn't marked by an asterisk. A note to all Roman travelers: an asterisk next to items on the menu means the food is frozen, not freshly made in the restaurant. Many of the restaurants around the Trevi fountain serve frozen foods.

“Great location , clean and tastefully decorated room,, shame about the entrance !”
just back from a four ight stay at the Residenza Trevi Roma. First impressions were not good - the entrance to this small hotel was terrible- plaster and dust everywhere with a dirty abandoned chair. in the corner. the wrought iron gate was open displaying a junk yard filled with rubble and black… lisää
just back from a four ight stay at the Residenza Trevi Roma. First impressions were not good - the entrance to this small hotel was terrible- plaster and dust everywhere with a dirty abandoned chair. in the corner. the wrought iron gate was open displaying a junk yard filled with rubble and black rubbish bags. The stairs leading up to the first floor hotel revelaed dangerous looking open wall sockets with electrical cables sprawling out. If the hotel was under going building work then I feel there should have been a notice explaining this and apologising to the guests . IHowever, once upstairs our room was clean and very tastlefully decorated (if a little small and dark). The room had an overpowering smell of drains/stale water which was a shame bewacuse the bathroom was very nicely furnished (beware of the step !). Breakfast was adequate and the staff were pleasant. Best thing about this b&b was the location - right in the centre of a very busy street and within a few steps of the Trevi Fountain. Although the street below our room was noisy it did not keep us awake. at night.
