“GREAT STAFF, GREAT HOTEL 🏨 ”
Thanks to the team at Merulana star Hotel, I was able to suprise colleagues of mine. I called and Arranged a bottle of Sparkling wine for their room and a special note. Thanks to the team at Merulana star Hotel, I was able to suprise colleagues of mine. I called and Arranged a bottle of Sparkling wine for their room and a special note. It was their first time traveling overseas and I wanted to make it special for them. The staff at the hotel were great with their communication, service and commitment. I appreciate it so much. I look forward to returning to Italy one day and staying at the MERULANA star hotel.

“Excellent location”
Very well located, metro is a 10 min walk away and cheap 1.50 euro each way or worth getting a 24hr /48hr pass if you plan to use it multiple times per day. Very well located, metro is a 10 min walk away and cheap 1.50 euro each way or worth getting a 24hr /48hr pass if you plan to use it multiple times per day. There is a lovely park next to the station. Highly recommend downloading 'city mapper' app, you will not get lost with this. The colosseum is also a 10 min walk away through another beautiful park . Vatican is 5 stops on the metro, trevi fountain 3 stops. Make sure you pre-book tickets to the colosseum / vatican to avoid queues. There are lots of cafes/restaurants/shops nearby, lively at night. Triple room was ok in size for 2 people, a bit of a squeeze for 3 but you shouldn't be spending much time in there! Bathroom was small, although shower was decent size. There is hand wash supplied and mini toiletries. Room was very clean and has a large window overlooking the street. No issues with noise. Taxi to/from Rome Ciampino airport should be 35 euro max, make sure you agree once you get in. I can't fault the hotel. The only negative was that the reception wasn't always manned. I don't know if this was because it was easter weekend. I struggled to get a uber to the airport, but luckily the lady on reception helped and called me a local taxi that arrived quickly. If I were to visit rome again, I would stay here again.

Huone meillä oli todella pieni, mutta kun vietimme koko päivän tutustuen kaupunkiin, se oli juuri sitä, mitä tarvitsimme. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen. Melun akustiikka ei ollut niin suuri, että jou kuuli reitin hyvin. Sijainti on erinomainen, kävele puiston läpi ja olet aivan kolosseumissa. Myös … lisää

“Close to Everything”

“Clean place but rooms on the small side”
Very difficult to find on the hotel. The sign was very small and following the location according to my GPS landed me on the opposite side of where it was. Found it and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little small but a normal Italian style one.
