Wow, this place was great! The location alone is worth the stay. You can get to most of the best sites in Rome in a ten minute walk. The hotel is in an old building, so yes, there are long hallways and you might have to walk up five steps to get to your floor (we didn't - I think only one floor had that). But the room we had was spacious by European standards and had everything we needed. The staff was beyond helpful. They offered to double check all of our dinner reservations to make sure everything was in order - a huge plus since we were there over Christmas. The lobby is understated, but functional. They don't heat the 4th floor, but instead give you a small space heater. Even with the 14 foot ceilings it kept our room warm. Lastly, the breakfast was awesome and you were on the top of the building. The views were picture worthy.

My husband and I stayed here in October 2023 prior to a transatlantic cruise back to the US. We had quite a bit of baggage because we would be traveling for a month across varying climates. We stayed for 3 nights in a Queen room with a tiny window peeking out to the rooftops. Had I not previously lived in Italy, I would've been disappointed by the stairs and the size of the room. The shower was small if you're not used to it. It's a historic building and they can't change the building itself. Our room was made up well. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location is great. If you're looking to be pampered and in a super luxe hotel...this is not for you. If you're able-bodied and looking for a place to lay your head on a comfortable bed....go here. We're in our late 30's/early 40's and we thought this hotel was perfect. I'm heading back for another few days in a couple months and I'm taking my 17 year old with me to the same hotel. It's Rome! How much time are you spending in your room anyway?!

Great hotel Perfect location it’s just central to all attractions and restaurants Great rooms lovely breakfast and rooftop area for breakfast Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Try the restaurants around all the tourist attractions and across the water all fantastic all reasonably priced .… lisää
