“A perfect place”

My husband and I stayed at casa di serena and loved it. Very close to the Vatican, a 24 hr. market, and transportation. Carlo, the owner is a gem. He's always available and eager to help. The room was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend it.

I went to Rome with my husband, mom, and grandparents for 7 nights. Our stay was outstanding, the place was always clean, the metro station was a few meters from the apartment and the owner, Carlo, made our visit very pleasant. He could speak English and Spanish so we could communicate perfectly with him. We had a small terrace with a table where we took our breakfast every day, it felt like home. There were a small fridge and a washing machine, very helpful after a few days travel around Europe. The only not-so-good was the wifi, we had a little trouble with that, not good enough for our room, I guess we were a bit out of the wifi zone because we were the last room, but we manage to use it anyway. Carlo tried everything to make us happy and also he helped us call a taxi that took us to the airport early in the morning. Highly recommended!!!! Hope to see you again Carlo, thank you for everything.

“Basic rooms quite a walk from the Vatican, not for the gluten-free!”

We were lucky to be allocated the large family room with its own bathroom and large balcony, we could open patio doors to let fresh air and occasional sunshine in - it was March. The B&B was full when we stayed so there was a buffet breakfast each morning in the dining room. The breakfast however was basic - poor quality, mass produced rolls, croissants, cheese and cold meats. The manager did source gluten-free bread for me from the local supermarket, but it was dry and inedible. When we arrived we spent a good 30 minutes trying to find the B&B. It is an apartment in an upper storey of the building, so no big signage outside, just a small note near the bells.
