pleasant room and convenient for most of rome sights. Id not recommend as staff could not understand that id booked through an agency and were badgering me that they had negotiated a price that was lower than there normal rate. bad on them and the agency - co-op travel

We stayed at standard room. It was a clean, modern room but a bit small (like a typical business hotel). We stayed at standard room. It was a clean, modern room but a bit small (like a typical business hotel). We got a room that's right next to the reception and we could hear the receptionists' conversation all night long (they love to talk loud). To get to the hotel, you need to take a charming classic elevator to the 3rd floor (the sign at the building entrance said 2nd floor, but when you get to the 2nd floor you will see another sign saying it's on the 3rd floor- very confusing). The location is in the high-end hotel district near the Spanish Steps or Villa Borgese and it is a bit far, a half hour walk, from the central where tourist spots are. If I visit Rome again, I would look for somewhere else.
