“Great Place Before a Flight! No Stress Stop!”
We booked Hotel Franchi for an overnight due to a very early flight home (6AM!). What a gem! Not a luxury hotel, but wasn’t expecting one. We booked Hotel Franchi for an overnight due to a very early flight home (6AM!). What a gem! Not a luxury hotel, but wasn’t expecting one. The owner met us at the door, booked or early morning cab, and helped us download keyless entry. The room had a nice balcony, although it is a residential area, not much to see. Room had a good mattress, nice bathroom and toiletries which helps when you are all packed. Last since it is in a residential area, they offer food and drink, and it is great! The eggplant parm was so tasty. Nice wine, zero alcohol Tanquery, and great service. Very good value, would definitely stay again!

“Great experience for a stay close to airport.”
We wanted a 1 night room close to the airport - after reading reviews we opted to book a night here. Had thought we'd walk to airport, but decided on a taxi since some of the walk was on heavily traffic road. We wanted a 1 night room close to the airport - after reading reviews we opted to book a night here. Had thought we'd walk to airport, but decided on a taxi since some of the walk was on heavily traffic road. Some reviews complained about hotel entry (via downloaded app), but knowing this in advance and downloading the app wasn't an issue. Gracious workers greeted us - one even offered to reserve a taxi for 3:45am (this was a bonus as we had an issue trying to reserve a taxi for the airport several days before for a family member leaving on an early flight). Bartender was so nice and pleasant. Room was small but comfy - bed slept great. Close to several restaurants - felt safe walking around with adult family. Would recommend staying here.

Functional and clean, initial thoughts on this hotel prove incorrect. It is close to the airport, in a residential district of schools and roadworks. Functional and clean, initial thoughts on this hotel prove incorrect. It is close to the airport, in a residential district of schools and roadworks. You won’t going romantic walks from the front door. But the rooms are clean and work well (don’t expect the frills in some of the photos) and the bar/cafe downstairs is a big plus - friendly and good food and wine. But the entry system - emails (in Italian of course) and an incomprehensible phone lock key which you need before you even get into the hotel out of the rain are a huge minus

“Great one night stay”
Good for the night before a flight. There isn’t much in the area. Great staff, very helpful. Comfortable lobby area, garden, and bar. Not a free breakfast. Contactless system not for the non-techie. Once we went through all the many steps, the app worked wonderfully.

“Good for a one-night stay”
Very close to Florence airport which is why we stayed in it. Clean, quiet, comfortable - all you need for a one-night stay to get to the airport early the next morning. Good restaurant nearby (sorry, forgot the name, but it's on a corner, 2 minutes walk from the Hotel)
