“A very impressive hotel with caring staff”

This was our first experience of a Hand Picked hotel and we were very impressed. We spent one night here on the way from Derbyshire to Warwickshire. This was our first experience of a Hand Picked hotel and we were very impressed. We spent one night here on the way from Derbyshire to Warwickshire. After a bad experience a few years ago (the spa aspect of the small hotel we stayed at was too pervasive), we had deliberately avoided spa hotels. But as New Hall was in the right place for us, we decided to give spa hotels another chance. This time there was no problem - we hardly knew there was a spa there at all. Unfortunately, my wife was feeling unwell and had to skip dinner. The staff were unbelievably concerned and kept asking if there was anything they could do, or anything they could send up to our room. I did have dinner, which was excellent - an interesting combination of scallops and black pudding, followed by halibut, one of my favourite fish dishes. We shall certainly be looking out for Hand Picked hotels in the future.

“Give yourself a real treat”

wow--what a find --staff everywhere you went spa reception groundsman and restaurant all only wanted you to have a great time the view from the drive on arrival was mind blowing and the 2 night stay never faltered. Vera--our Miniature Schnauzer was treat like royalty Restaurant service and food -- not cheap--but you get what you pay for I highly recommend and will be happy to stay again

“Beautiful tucked away hotel near to Sutton Coldfield”

Nicely tucked away large hotel with lovely grounds surrounded by a moat. You’ll fill up your camera roll trust me! Historic building with albeit slightly dated decor but very clean and comfortable with attentive staff and service. Good parking on site and good wheelchair accessibility. Not sure... lisää

Historic building with albeit slightly dated decor but very clean and comfortable with attentive staff and service. Good parking on site and good wheelchair accessibility. Not sure if rooms are available for wheelchair users though. Nice restaurant on site with good service because it’s a trek to get to anywhere else (you’ll need to drive as nothing is in walking distance). When I visit Sutton Coldfield again I’d definitely stay here. Nots the cheapest option but you get your money worth for sure.
