“Great hotel with outstanding restaurant.”
On arrival at the car park it might not look like the prettiest hotel, but once inside, the entire experience, start to finish, was really excellent. On arrival at the car park it might not look like the prettiest hotel, but once inside, the entire experience, start to finish, was really excellent. Large and comfortable bedroom, roaring log fire in the lounge area, and a first class supper in the restaurant. And an excellent breakfast the following morning. The hotel manager is ex-Mandarin Oriental Group, so the attention to detail, and service, is spot on. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was worth the stay on its own. Not the cheapest hotel, but worth splashing out on.

“Well worth a visit”
On arrival we received a free upgrade to a fantastic room with views over the harbour. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the harbour it is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the village but a bit longer coming back up. The evening dinner was good sized portions with locally sourced ingredients which tasted wonderful, our server who wasn’t a local lad he had come from Glasgow for the last 3 years was really knowledgeable about the local gins

“Highland Hospitality at it best.”
On our NC500 tour, we've stayed in some nice places. This was (is) a terrific hotel only matched by the views from the dining room and luckily for us our bedroom. We can all agree it looks a bit brutal from the outside thank 70s architecture for that, no doubt. But as the saying goes its whats on t… lisää
On our NC500 tour, we've stayed in some nice places. This was (is) a terrific hotel only matched by the views from the dining room and luckily for us our bedroom. We can all agree it looks a bit brutal from the outside thank 70s architecture for that, no doubt. But as the saying goes its whats on the inside that counts, and boy, this place delivers in spades. From being met in the car park fo help with our luggage, check in dinner service and post dinner drinks in the billard room to watch the football (sorry!) Place is just so welcoming its a big place but cosy too, the staff are immense big thanks to Callum for all the attentive service and route planning. Food was brilliant, and the bedroom was as silent a night as you could dream for. Thank you. We loved the place, hope to see you on netflix soon ;-) If you're passing this way, book in you wont be dissappointed

“The best view in town .”
Loved this place . My wife , daughter and I spent 3 nights in this charming lodge with a breathtaking view of Lovhinver harbour and surrounding countryside. The staff are very friendly , welcoming and informative . A big shout out to Amanda , Donald , Charfeddine and Janet . Your knowledge, sense of humor and service were much appreciated by Sarah , Colleen and I . We had planned on our arrival to have one dinner at the Lodge and 2 dinners in the village but swiftly changed our plans after the first meal . The quality of food from the Chef was excellent and we enjoyed dinner and spectacular views each evening of our stay . The rooms were very clean and comfortable with ample room to relax . The hot chocolate in the rooms was so tasty . Highly recommend for one night or more . We will be back .

“A bit of a gem”
Super comfy beds and spacious rooms with blissful views. A fantastic chef in the kitchen- food delicious. Staff all delightful. External entrance not promising but couldn't be nicer. Needs more folk to be there to make this place buzz again.
