“Over night stay”
Stayed here with friends overnight on Friday to attend Thirsk race's Service first class Food as good as you would find in the westend of London (I know what im talking about i worked as restaurant manager at Rules restaurant covent garden for 25 year's) A big thank you to all concerned

“Absolutely amazing hotel & restaurant ”
Stayed here with work and already booked again. Rooms are immaculate and the food is out of this world..... all the staff are a credit to this establishment & chain. Especially Stephen the chef - who's willing to go the extra mile for the customer ...... amazing service and already booked again... lisää

“Brilliant Lunch”
4 of us had lunch here, ate off the lunch menu, absolutely fantastic. 2 courses £16.95, 3 for £18.95. Very good sized portions, all in all 10/10 and we will be back.

“Over and above …..10 star for friendliness”
This has got to be the friendliest pub in Britain visited with my husband and dog ….went for a drink they where just so friendly the staff the locals they went over and above to welcome us and the dog even brought bits of chicken from kitchen for the dog absolutely fantastic service and friendly

“Very friendly staff”
Rooms, staff and food are excellent. The only negative was the lack of choice on the menus. What was on there was very delicious. Would have liked the choice at breakfast of perhaps yoghurts, fruit salad or pastries as well as the full Yorkshire.
