“Great 3 night stay at the Gordon Hotel”

Lovely stay at this hotel, Lovely clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast was really good and the host Lawrence and his family were amazing, Great Location for North and South bays would highly recommend to everyone. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely welcoming hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel rooms were lovely and spacious with all facilities. We even had the choice of which room we would prefer. The breakfast was brilliant. Would definately look at coming back Great host always happy to help and very welcoming

Well what a lovely family run hotel, the room we had was perfect for us and had plenty of room and was very clean, the hotel itself is perfectly situated a stones throw from Peasholm park which is handy for walking around and keeping the kids entertained. Well what a lovely family run hotel, the room we had was perfect for us and had plenty of room and was very clean, the hotel itself is perfectly situated a stones throw from Peasholm park which is handy for walking around and keeping the kids entertained. On the evening we wandered into Scarborough and had something to eat then came back around 9 ish the hotel bar area had a few people in so we joined them along with the owner Lawrence, we had a lovely night chatting and having a laugh we were all very relaxed, it’s clear from talking to people that they are regular visitors and you can see why. If you want an excellent clean relaxed friendly hotel in Scarborough with a cracking breakfast then look no further, we will be going again but this time we will book “direct” see you guys soon John Jayne and family x

“A warm welcome, comfortable bed and hearty breakfast”

This hotel has a wonderful family atmosphere. We were greeted by Lawrence with a cup of tea/coffee. The room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits provided. 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels were provided. This hotel has a wonderful family atmosphere. We were greeted by Lawrence with a cup of tea/coffee. The room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits provided. 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels were provided. A choice of breakfast was provided daily including choice of cereal or yogurt, full English, scrambled/fried/boiled eggs and plenty of toast and marmalade or jam. Breakfast was served by Lawrence's family who were all cheerful and made sure we had everything we needed. Lawrence and family were happy to give advice on where to visit and how to get there and we heard Lawrence ordering a taxi for a visitor. Nothing was too much trouble. Our view was the trees of Peasholm Park (and if you looked really carefully through the trees you could see the sea) which is directly across the road providing a peaceful walk before heading into town.
