“Overnight stay late December”
We arrived before the three o clock check in time, but the room was ready for us. I enquired at the reception if the hotel had a wheel chair that I could borrow, as we were unable to bring my wife’s with us, unfortunately, they didn’t. We arrived before the three o clock check in time, but the room was ready for us. I enquired at the reception if the hotel had a wheel chair that I could borrow, as we were unable to bring my wife’s with us, unfortunately, they didn’t. My wife sat in the reception area while I went to the assistance area in the terminal,who were able to lend us one of theirs, Note, the wheelchairs are millimetres to wide to go into the room, so when we had done for the day I was able to put it in reg luggage store near reception. We had a couple of drinks at the bar, which were typical airport type prices. We had booked a table in the restaurant for half five, so that we could check the luggage in using twilight checking, however the airline opened the desks early, and so we were back in the hotel by four thirty. The hotel allowed us to change the booking to five o clock. Once we were seated the waitress took our orders, and we waited. This is where it went a bit pear shaped, my fish and chips arrived ok, however the plain beef burger arrived with salad and dressing, but it was changed, however the plain chicken burger also arrived with salad and dressing, but the waitress didn’t hear my grandson tell her, so he ended up just nibbling the bits that were unaffected. Anyhow, back to the rest of the stay, I had forgotten to pack a razor, but was given one at reception. On the whole the staff were very pleasant and professional.

“Convenient but the guest room bathroom are awful”
First the positives, it’s good value, the location is excellent, the premium rooms are tastefully decorated and the tvs have finally been replaced with models that include chromecast and streaming apps. First the positives, it’s good value, the location is excellent, the premium rooms are tastefully decorated and the tvs have finally been replaced with models that include chromecast and streaming apps. Sleep quality is good. There was recognition for IHG Rewards Platinum, with an upgrade to a premium room. As for the detractors, the guest room bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation and the condition is completely unacceptable for an IHG property - cracked sink, stained grouting, etc (see photos). Dining could also be improved - the restaurant was closed due to the hotel having lower occupancy however dining was available in the bar area - the menu has a good choice, the pizza was tasty however the sides left a lot to be desired (see photos of a “tomato, avocado, red onion and rocket salad” which more resembled a bowl of tomato). Staff were friendly. Living in Australia, I’ve stayed at this hotel many times on my return flight. It’s convenient for the airport and fine for the night, but management - please - renovate the bathrooms!

“Passable if You Must”
We had to stay here because a flight was canceled. For the convenience of walking distance from the airport, it's unparalleled. As for the room itself, dated but clean enough. Breakfast was plentiful, so that was appreciated. As I said, we were here for opportunity.. not particularly by choice, but… lisää
