Recently had a overnight stay and had high expectations for the tribute night, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The food provided during the event was underwhelming and the quality didn’t match the price paid for the experience. To make matters worse, the bar service was slow and disorganized. It seemed like the staff on hand did not know how to manage the crowd, leading to long waits for drinks. The bright spot was that our sleep was great and comfortable and breakfast the following morning was absolutely fantastic. The buffet had a great selection of hot and cold food and the service was great, Even though the server who helped me at breakfast in the morning also had served me my tribute meal at night which I found funny but also concerning. Despite the flaws, I would still consider returning.

“Not as good as advertised ”

The hotel looks great on the website etc but clearly the photos are quite old. We stayed there before and after a holiday from Glasgow Airport - the location is great for this. The hotel looks great on the website etc but clearly the photos are quite old. We stayed there before and after a holiday from Glasgow Airport - the location is great for this. The night before the flight we had a double room, it was comfortable but the bathroom was in desperate need of silicone and grout replacement. There was an adjoining door to the room next door and you could hear every word from the other side. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The staff were all great. On the night after our holiday we had a king double room. This was better and bigger, but the mattress springs were noisy and worn out. The walls and ceiling paint was peeling and patched not fully painted. There was also a green light that was very bright and kept us awake all night. The stairs to this part of the hotel had a completely worn out carpet. The evening meal was great, but at breakfast, the music was so loud that it felt like being on a disco, we had to sit as far from the speaker as possible - so much for a quiet relaxed breakfast before the drive home. Overall, great location, good food, great staff - but the building was a let down.

Pulling up to the hotel was lovely and I was excited to stay, but once in our room all that changed. Our room smelt of cigarettes and we had to open the window and spray perfume. Pulling up to the hotel was lovely and I was excited to stay, but once in our room all that changed. Our room smelt of cigarettes and we had to open the window and spray perfume. We phoned reception but no answer so left a message and are still waiting for them to speak to use about it. We also stayed for the party night and it was scary how many people they had in one room. The food took ages to be served and was cold and not very appetising. They only thing that made our night good was the Motown tribute night. They redeemed themselves the next day as breakfast was very very tasty and well set out. I was glad we where only staying for one night.
