“A good find”
We chose the Beech House hotel as its was near the venue of a concert we were attending. It was a good choice. We chose the Beech House hotel as its was near the venue of a concert we were attending. It was a good choice. Umar welcomed us and gave us a full introduction to our room and all the information we needed. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. Our room (11) had an American king size bed, I’ve never seen such a large bed!!A good breakfast followed cooked to order. We had an enjoyable stay.

“Family visit.”
In Reading for a family funeral and this beautiful hotel was perfect for my sister and I and our husbands. Umar and Nazeel were so lovely and extremely considerate of our needs. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exceptional too, continental or full English… lisää

The rooms were very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was exceptional too, continental or full English with plenty of choice. Beech House is extremely good value and we would all highly recommend it. Thank you so much Umar and Nazeel for doing so much to help us during our stay at the Beech House. Ten out of ten!

“As good as ever!”
It was Royal Ascot week and so that meant we headed down to Reading for our annual stay at this lovely hotel. It was Royal Ascot week and so that meant we headed down to Reading for our annual stay at this lovely hotel. We find it to be the perfect base if going to RA as the station is just a ten minute taxi ride away. We have stayed at Beech House a number of times and each time we have received a lovely welcome. The room we had this year (9) was spacious and clean with the comfiest bed I think we have ever slept in! The breakfast menu is traditional and varied....the sausages are superb! We really love this hotel, its cosy, friendly and perfectly positioned for our needs. Once again it is a 5* rating from us.!

“Over the top service”
First night in England after a long trip and no sleep. My Canadian credit card was giving me issues and not working. While I used a different card to pay, owner help me connect with my provider on his personal phone. He ran all the test he was asked, tried a few test transactions. In the end, it so… lisää
First night in England after a long trip and no sleep. My Canadian credit card was giving me issues and not working. While I used a different card to pay, owner help me connect with my provider on his personal phone. He ran all the test he was asked, tried a few test transactions. In the end, it sounds like an issue with my physical card but he helped me find a way to use it. He spent an hour assisting me. I would highly recommend.

“Lovely little Hotel!”
We stayed one night in a quirky little room (No 10), long and thin with the Fire Escape door at the end. Very clean, equipped with tea and coffee etc, spacious bathroom, quiet room over looking a lovely garden. We did need the fan supplied (Thank you) even with the windows open it was warm. We stayed one night in a quirky little room (No 10), long and thin with the Fire Escape door at the end. Very clean, equipped with tea and coffee etc, spacious bathroom, quiet room over looking a lovely garden. We did need the fan supplied (Thank you) even with the windows open it was warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful, a 10 min taxi drive to the station with regular buses running into town just outside. Our room price didn't include breakfast which we didn't have as the price tag of £30 seemed a bit steep! Comfortable stay.
