“Good Hoylake hotel”

A great little find with last-minute availability. Parking perfect and plentiful: the car park is safe and secure. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good but it’s a shame no on site restaurant- however the pub opposite was nice. Wifi works well and had a good nights sleep. Thank you.

Very comfortable stay. There was plenty of space in the room and a super king bed, which was very comfortable. Bathroom with walk in shower was excellent. Very comfortable stay. There was plenty of space in the room and a super king bed, which was very comfortable. Bathroom with walk in shower was excellent. I didn't really rate the breakfast, with bacon which was like leather and the toughest sausages ever. Toast and marmalade and tea and coffee, was the best option. Great location, with just a short walk to shops,bars and restaurants, or to the beach. Yes I would recommend.

“Stayed for a friend's wedding”

I arrived earlier than 3.00pm check in, and the receptionist was excellent. He reallocated my room, checked it was ready with housekeeping, and 10 minutes I was checked in. I arrived earlier than 3.00pm check in, and the receptionist was excellent. He reallocated my room, checked it was ready with housekeeping, and 10 minutes I was checked in. Rooms are clean and bathroom a high standard with a lovely large shower. Only complaint on the room was that one of the curtains was ripped from track and didn't close fully. I could've reported it, but as was only in the room for to sleep, it wasn't a great problem. Breakfast included with a good choice and tasty. The day I arrived there were roadworks blocking direct access to hotel. Resulted in a 20 minute tour of West Kirby and asking kind people walking by to find it. The hotel should've been aware of this and privided signage to assist guests. A number of us who were going to the wedding experienced the same problem. Parking is not free. Only £4.00 for duration of stay. But as it is a private car park, on principle I think it should be included in the price of your stay. Overall a good place for short stays, if you do not require dining facilities.

“Mixed Experience”

I wish trip advisor allowed half stars, as this would have been a 3.5 star for us. It was a mixed experience. The hotel location was perfect and the room was great, albeit a little small. I wish trip advisor allowed half stars, as this would have been a 3.5 star for us. It was a mixed experience. The hotel location was perfect and the room was great, albeit a little small. The breakfast was great in our opinion, and the lady who coordinated it was just brilliant - an exemplar of good customer service. We had issues with the daily housekeeping (beds not made for days, new towels chucked on the ground). The staff when we gave the feedback were indifferent and seemed to lack any response in action (i.e. we were told it was being passed on). There also seemed to be a lack of willingness to address loud guests and serious smoking issues we had on the first few nights. However, the save for us was when we escalated to management they responded brilliantly and our issues were remedied. We stayed for two weeks, and only escalated on the 3rd last night, otherwise it would have been a 1-2 star rating from us. Wish we had done this earlier (not that we should have to). Hoping this is just some issues now that hotels are picking up post pandemic. We would given them another shot, but hope the customer service and housekeeping improved significantly.
