“Excellent stay”
My friend and I arrived late due to bus being held up staff were wonderful and very polite organised a meal for us both which was bought up to the room. We had had to change dates at last minute but staff took it all in their stride and organised everything. Would definately stay again should we … lisää

“Boys weekend ”
Stayed here with my son last month due to daughter having a girly sleep over. Room was great standard and clean. Hotel all round was clean and tidy. And breakfast in the morning was a winner (especially with my son). All in all a great stay at an excellent rate

We stayed in the Holiday Inn over the weekend as it was my husband’s birthday. First of all, our welcome at reception was fine, staff very pleasant. We stayed in the Holiday Inn over the weekend as it was my husband’s birthday. First of all, our welcome at reception was fine, staff very pleasant. The room was spotless and the housekeeping staff obviously work hard. One thing about the room though, I’m aware that most people staying in these types of hotels are normally short stay, but I would have liked to see a set of drawers for personal items, like underwear, medications etc. Not happy about having these things on display. Also, would have liked a rubber mat as the shower tray was extremely slippy I had to steady myself on the grab rail as I almost fell twice. Breakfast was rather limited. Main things, only one flavour of yoghurt, then scrambled eggs, beans, bacon and sausages. Cereal choice was ok (Special K, corn flakes, coco pops and granola) good to see gluten-free corn fakes and porridge though. Evening meals in the restaurant were just like bar meals..nothing very special, although on Sunday there was a small grill menu. Our meals were cooked by Jack, who came out of the kitchen to check our meals were ok. He is a very pleasant chap and was eager to please. Quite a credit to the hotel. All in all, we’ve stayed in worse.
