Stayed here for a night and had a very pleasant stay. The bed was wonderful, the best night's sleep in a hotel for ages and I didn't wake up during the night which is very rare, even when I am at home I toss and turn at night. We didn't eat in the restaurant other than for breakfast which was very nice with a good selection. The hotel is very clean and a very comfortable place to stay.

“Dave, Ravi & Jordi are incredible”

The Bastion Hotel in roosendaal was quite an experience, in good ways and bad ways. The Bastion Hotel in roosendaal was quite an experience, in good ways and bad ways. I have to admit the cleaning schedule and some of the workers were not what was expected of a hotel, the food was wrong when we ordered it, and we had several issues with room keys not working. However. There were three members of staff that made our visit absolutely incredible. Dave, Ravi, and Jordi are amazing. The level of customer service we received compared to elsewhere in the Netherlands was exemplary. Any problem we had was quickly resolved. They met us as professionals, and 12 days later we left as friends. After 10 hours work in a different country, we were greeted with pleasant smiles, friendly faces and engaging conversation, which after a long day is exactly what you need. The customer service provided by these three employes was absolutely next level and I will be sure to visit the Bastion next time just to see these three guys. Thank you for making my stay as good as you could. Big respect.

“Great stay, great staff, Shame about the lack of food”

Second night of a three night cycling trip 18 of us landed at the Bastion. Having cycled 100miles we were tired. Bit of a fuss checking in but once sorted the beer flowed and that was great. Second night of a three night cycling trip 18 of us landed at the Bastion. Having cycled 100miles we were tired. Bit of a fuss checking in but once sorted the beer flowed and that was great. Had to order takeout pizza for majority of riders as the hotel ran out of food! Breakfast next day was super if you caught the omelette cook. Thank you

“Not worth the money for a longer stay”

+ The hotel has a good location, and if you travel by car, a big parking lot and charging stations. Spacious basic rooms. Comfortable beds. The breakfast is expensive, so we skipped it. Nice with a fridge in the room. - Dirty towels in our room and the ventilation made so much noise that we needed to turn it off to be able to sleep. Also some loose cables sticking out of the wall. Didn’t look quite safe. Bathroom really small. All in all not worth the money for a longer stay.
