“Small room in the city ”

We had a nice room overlooking plaza. Small but efficient and a view of the bay. Hotel registration is up two flights of stairs so a little confusing but pretty well marked. Very central and easy to walk and take buses.

This property is well located in the center of Ceuta with easy access to most of the sites and about 20 minutes walk to the port. The rooms are relatively small but new and a decent 2 stars. Please be aware that soundproofing is very poor and may not be adequate for light sleepers, both for the sounds from neighboring rooms and for the high pitch door chime from the reception which can ring any time of the night.

“Nothing to complain - central location, good base to explore Ceuta”

I stayed at Hostal Plaza Ruiz for one night in November 2017. The location of the hotel is right in the center of Ceuta at a pedestrian zone (so no noise from cars, busses and trucks) - in summer time it maybe can get a bit noisy due to the terraces of the restaurants located next to the hotel. I stayed at Hostal Plaza Ruiz for one night in November 2017. The location of the hotel is right in the center of Ceuta at a pedestrian zone (so no noise from cars, busses and trucks) - in summer time it maybe can get a bit noisy due to the terraces of the restaurants located next to the hotel. Room was good and bed comfy. The hotel has no lobby, and as I arrived early and the room was not ready I had to wait for a while standing in the corridor. That was no problem and I do mention it just because this information might be helpful for any other traveller. The hotel is less than five minutes walk from the restaurant "El Cortijo", where I had excellent tapas.
