“Great hotel and location.”
Within the city walls on a Saturday in wedding season & many hotels are full. Las Moradas is well location within the walls yet withing easy walking distance of a couple of carparks which at 16E/day we though was pretty good. Within the city walls on a Saturday in wedding season & many hotels are full. Las Moradas is well location within the walls yet withing easy walking distance of a couple of carparks which at 16E/day we though was pretty good. We had a room facing away from the street so really quiet. The room and bathroom were very large & we also had a a sort of covered solarium. The breakfast was very good with an excellent selection including bacon, scrambled eggs & sausages. There are plenty of places to eat close by and a shop for any nibbles you might want.

“Comfortable and nice hotel”
The situation is excellent, just in the center of the old town; staff was impressive helping in everything they could; the room was big and cozy with good heating. The bathroom had good towels and some amenities. If there was a small inconvenient was the water pressure in the shower, it could have… lisää
The situation is excellent, just in the center of the old town; staff was impressive helping in everything they could; the room was big and cozy with good heating. The bathroom had good towels and some amenities. If there was a small inconvenient was the water pressure in the shower, it could have been a bit better. Recommended - yes. Will return to this hotel - yes.

“Practical and comfortable hotel in town centre”
We were only in Avila for one night. This hotel is in the centre and gave us easy access to all the action. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were only in Avila for one night. This hotel is in the centre and gave us easy access to all the action. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and surprisingly quiet since our room was right on the Main Street. Nice quiet air con system. It is a traditional building and I was really pleased to have one of those iron balconies so characteristic of this area. We had breakfast at the hotel which was adequate.

Las Moradas is a comfortable, clean hotel in the centre of Avila. Everything (city walls, shops etc) is only a short walk away. Las Moradas is a comfortable, clean hotel in the centre of Avila. Everything (city walls, shops etc) is only a short walk away. The rooms are quite spacious, spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced. The young lady at reception was very welcoming and kind and the hotel itself is surprisingly charming in an understated way. I will return again.

Las Moradas is located a short stroll from the Cathedral, from "las moradas" or the medieval walls, and almost everything of interest in Avila, of which there is a lot. Las Moradas is located a short stroll from the Cathedral, from "las moradas" or the medieval walls, and almost everything of interest in Avila, of which there is a lot. Clean, friendly, good breakfasts. The rooms aren't fancy or beautiful by any means, but clean and orderly if somewhat spartan. The main advantages are location, price, and cleanliness. It is on a pedestrian only street, though taxis are allowed to drive up to the door for passengers.
