“NIce location in BH, but beware of noise.”

The hotel is in the Savassi area of BH, a very nice and safe residential area, with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms are spare but very big (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room). The staff was nice and friendly, very willing to help. My only complaint is the lack of noise … lisää

The hotel is in the Savassi area of BH, a very nice and safe residential area, with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms are spare but very big (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room). The staff was nice and friendly, very willing to help. My only complaint is the lack of noise isolation (only single pane windows). Most of the rooms face to R. Santa Rita Durao, but the cross street R. Pernambuco seems to have traffic at all times of day. After the first night I asked for a room facing the backside, and this helped with the traffic noise. However, this side faces an elementary school with very enthusiastic kids. This is not a problem if you get up early and are out most of the day. But if you are trying to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon, the noise could be a problem. In all fairness, I'm a light sleeper, so I'm very sensitive to this issue, if you are a heavy sleeper this could be the perfect place for you.

The room, service, feel of the place, and the included breakfast are all excellent. My one area of suggested improvement would be to provide better kitchenware. I you get a suite with a kitchen, it comes with two sets of plates and silverware, but no cookware, dish soap, kitchen towels, or anything… lisää

The room, service, feel of the place, and the included breakfast are all excellent. My one area of suggested improvement would be to provide better kitchenware. I you get a suite with a kitchen, it comes with two sets of plates and silverware, but no cookware, dish soap, kitchen towels, or anything. The pots and pans they do provide upon request are banged up and low quality. Since I had no dish soap, I left all used items soaking in the sink, and the housekeeper cleaned it all up with no complaint.

“nice hotel at a good location”

I stayed just one night. The hotel in located in a nice and safe area with many bars and restaurants. Good suites for reasonable price. only the streets were noisy. breakfast was served at the restaurant and had a good choice.

The hotel is nicely situated near the beautiful Praca da Liberdade, in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. The hotel is nicely situated near the beautiful Praca da Liberdade, in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. We we're upgraded to a suite on an upper level, with a balcony and a great view on the city. The interiors were modern, all rooms and facilities clean. The mini sized pool is not worth of a pool though, and the gym was a bit run down. Breakfast was not exciting, but okay. There is a great restaurant, where the breakfast is served. Free wifi worked in the rooms. The manager was very helpful and tried really hard, the other staff though lacked basic English knowledge (Asking for the gym, I was asked back "Café da manha?", which means breakfast.)

“Average at Best”

Back here on business after a break of several years, but won't stay here next time. Hotel rooms showing effects of over-use and limited maintenance. Stains on furniture, peeling lining in the shower, paint damage, doors showing age....... Breakfast very limited. There are better choices in the… lisää
