Our group of 28 students and professors arrived after a long bus ride from Normandy and a couple of hours in Bastogne. Tired and hungry, we arrived at Arlon and were greeted warmly. My room was well-appointed, comfortable, and extra clean. The bed was like being at home. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was very good. Baked chicken fillet, croustillant et sauce champignons, and a brownie for dessert were excellent. Breakfast the next morning had several options of cereals, breads, fruit, yogurts, as well as the usual breakfast meats and eggs. Several of the students wanted to stay another day or two. I would have joined them.

“1 night stop over”

Disappointed our room felt slightly damp and there was an unpleasant smell, the wall under the window had been repaired but still needed painting. Good points were the staff in the restaurant for our Dinner were great and the food also OK, a good selection for breakfast .

This is a pretty good hotel and one in which I would stay again, mainly because it is well-priced and very convenient for the motorway. I'm not sure that their 'inspired by nature' decoration really works for me. The colours (especially the green) are not to my taste and the cheap photos of anima… lisää

This is a pretty good hotel and one in which I would stay again, mainly because it is well-priced and very convenient for the motorway. I'm not sure that their 'inspired by nature' decoration really works for me. The colours (especially the green) are not to my taste and the cheap photos of animals add nothing to the ambience. However, that is personal taste. There is no lift. This was more of a problem since we were returning from a ski trip and had very heavy bags ... and our room was upstairs. However, the delightful Christophe changed our room to a ground floor one and our backs were saved! The room was clean, and the amenities were exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. The carpets and walls in some other parts of the hotel were not so clean. There were smashed pretzels left in the corridor upstairs, a dripping wine (?) stain on the wall in the bar ... and the carpet in the bar was covered in dog hair. The restaurant was pretty reasonable, and the service was efficient and friendly. And, I have to say, that every member of staff that we came across was great. Possibly, though, the hotel might hire some more people to focus on aspects of cleaning.

“Arlon -transit stop of one night.”

I had not stayed at this hotel before. Arrival immediately brought anxiety. Instead of the tranquil green environment on the hotel’s website photograph I encountered the exterior building in major works turmoil. I had not stayed at this hotel before. Arrival immediately brought anxiety. Instead of the tranquil green environment on the hotel’s website photograph I encountered the exterior building in major works turmoil. Few parking spaces were a available close to hotel because of the hotel expansion works. I had pre-booked a superior room, to find this very disappointing. A view from the room window was of a pile of earthwork (see photos). In the room, the fridge didn’t work, neither the hairdryer - but a back-up one was found in the room, and the modern open-plan room was not at practical nor welcoming. On the positive side a good value and enjoyable dinner and breakfast. Helpful staff. A spacious room. The hotel has an excellent situation for joining Arlon’s autoroute system. However, I will be writing to ACCOR /ALL to request compensation for what I believe is the below-standard accommodation.
