“Perfect place for us...”

Amenities -- LOVED the rooftop pool and terrace, had a couple lovely afternoons by the pool, late evenings sipping wine on the terrace. While small, the pool was refreshingly cool and usually quiet. Sitting area/terrace below -- and indoors. Great place for morning coffee. Small workout room, we should have used it -- but got our miles in walking around the lovely city of Rosario. Breakfast was really QUITE NICE (standard Argentine ham, cheese, fruit and breads -- PLUS scrambled eggs, which was a pleasant surprise). The lobby is large and comfortable, and they put up with us plugging our laptop in to watch American football a couple nights. Brought our own food and drinks to the comfy sitting area. Front staff -- friendly and accommodating (Gabriel the doorman - awesome). Francesca(?) was able to extend our stay for one night and we really appreciated it. Location - PERFECT. Nearby supermarket, many restaurants/bars. Short walk to the riverfront. On the busline to La Florida (beach). Close to everything! Rooms -- Loved having two connected rooms (great set-up -- we could lock the door to the hall and move between the rooms. Only one of the rooms had a fridge and microwave, but that worked fine for us.) Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and spacious. Great showers -- hot with good water pressure. Ours did NOT smell like smoke OVERALL -- highly recommend and will return!

The Urquiza Apart Hotel in Rosario is well located in the heart of Rosario. The Urquiza Apart Hotel in Rosario is well located in the heart of Rosario. The place has generally a quite upmarket look and feel, but on closer inspection the interior design is starting to look somewhat dated.This is not helped by emerging signs of wear and tear in the fitout. The one bedroom suite I was in was quite generous in size but the wifi was so bad it was a deal breaker. Web pages simply would not load, skype was impossible to use and this is the main reason I won't come back to this place. Getting a room with good wifi is for some reason quite often a problem in Argentina. This is a shame because in other respects this hotel represents quite good value for money.

“Basic but fair... ”
The online service didn't report the right Room type I reserved, but the hotel was helpful and corrected this issue. I would consider this a low budget hotel in a good location, close to attractions. The online service didn't report the right Room type I reserved, but the hotel was helpful and corrected this issue. I would consider this a low budget hotel in a good location, close to attractions. All asociates were very friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. I made my reservation through despegar. My Room was what they call an "appart Room" , and was roomy and well maintained.
