“Give the dinner a try too!”
The view at El Faro cannot be beat - beautiful mountains and right on the lake! We would like to also shout out the hotel's dinner service. The food was affordable and delicious. They were flexible as to when you can eat as well. Definitely worth the meal!

“Excelent !”
The hotel is very confortable and the custome service is excelent. American brekfast is good. Rooms very confortable. Amenities. Pillows and beds are confortables. Parking is good. In front of lake Nahuel Huapi , the view and sunset is bestiful.

“A beautiful place”
The view and pool were beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. A good restaurant next door Check in and out was easy. We only stayed 1 night but wished whe had stayed 2. A bit of a long walk to town but do-able.

“Faded glory”
Location is great with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our room was really big, and everything was very clean. The heated floor in the bathroom was really nice, but it heated the bedroom uncomfortably if you left the door open. There were numerous worn areas on rugs, floors… lisää
Location is great with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our room was really big, and everything was very clean. The heated floor in the bathroom was really nice, but it heated the bedroom uncomfortably if you left the door open. There were numerous worn areas on rugs, floors and walls. The spa pool was ok - large, but the water could have been hotter. The sauna was nice, and you could set the temp you wanted, but it took 2 hours for it to get to 70 C or higher. The outdoor pool was heated, but could use a good cleaning. All staff were very friendly and responded quickly to any requests. Breakfast was good, with plentiful amounts and variety of choices.

“Beautiful location. If only that was all that mattered!”
We were really excited for our stay. Unfortunately the room we booked based on photos was not the room we got. They put the photos of the best rooms online but no guarantee you will get them and there is a big difference - even though they are same price and ‘category’! This is known and admitted t… lisää
We were really excited for our stay. Unfortunately the room we booked based on photos was not the room we got. They put the photos of the best rooms online but no guarantee you will get them and there is a big difference - even though they are same price and ‘category’! This is known and admitted to it (so essentially bait advertising!). Staff brushed us off, were rude and we waited 2 hours trying to resolve, to be told we couldn’t have the room we thought we booked as someone had it the following night. It was late at night by this time so we took the one room on offer. Decided to have dinner in the restaurant - avoid! It was terrible! All in all the hotel is beautiful and stunning views but they are misleading guests and the service and food is not good.
